Subject: STOP Prop 1, Say No to New Taxes

Yesterday, The Seattle Times endorsed a NO position on Prop 1. Citing King County Metro’s untrustworthy track record, “well-documented unsustainably high operating costs,” and “tax fatigue” that “could jeopardize crucial investments,” The Times urged voters to “send King County government a message that Metro has more work to do on righting its cost structure before asking voters for more revenue.” You can read the entire article here.

It is vital that we capitalize on momentum built by The Seattle Times’ NO on Prop 1 endorsement.
