Earlier this week, the Republican controlled Congress approved the biggest tax reform package this country has seen in decades. This plan will put more money back in the pockets of hardworking taxpayers and will incentivize corporations to invest more in their employees and this country by cutting the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. Just days after the bill passed, businesses have already started responding in big ways.
Large corporations such as AT&T and Sinclair have announced they will be giving bonuses to employees thanks to the passage of the bill. AT&T will be handing out $1,000 bonuses to more than 200,000 employees as a result of the vote in Congress. Sinclair will also be giving out $1,000 bonuses to its workers.
